Joe Rogan was every single UFC fan watching Max Holloway's spectacular KO of Justin Gaethje at UFC 300 on Saturday night.

The former featherweight champion scored one of the greatest knockouts in MMA history by faceplanting Gaethje with a huge right hand in the last second of Round 5 of their 'BMF' bout.

The instant classic left everyone at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas utterly stunned, including UFC colour commentator Rogan.

The podcast extraordinaire's astonishment was written all over his face as he leapt up from his seat, turned around in bewilderment and let out several of his patented 'ohhss!'.

"New Rogan meme dropped," one fan wrote.

"I love Joe. His facial expressions just kill me," another commented.

"New rogan meme is here :)))) he did it again," a third added.

Rogan wasn't the only prominent figure in total awe of the Hawaiian's vicious knockout.

Current featherweight champion Ilia Topuria was just as shocked as everyone else as he stood cageside next to former middleweight king Israel Adesanya.

Footage of the Georgian-Spaniard's instant reaction to Holloway's fight-ending right hand went viral and some fans thought he looked 'scared'.

@Octagonobsessed commented on X: “Ilia Topuriaa looked worried.”

"He’s scared as f***," another wrote.

"He dont want it lmao," a third responded.

"Bro is not ready, " a fourth commented.

Topuria knocked out former featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski in February, who previously went 3-0 against Holloway, to become champion.

‘El Matador’ has called on the UFC for his first title defense to be in Madrid, Spain, sometime in 2024.

That could now be against Holloway after 'Blessed' called for a fight against Topuria in his UFC 300 post-fight interview.

"I'm him!" Holloway called out to Topuria, before asking him to sign the contract.

Then he appeared to call out current 155 lbs champion Islam Makhachev, saying: "Islam is famous for defending against 45ers! I'm here."

It remains to be seen if 'Blessed' goes back down to 145 lbs for a title fight with Topuria or sticks at lightweight for a potential clash with Makhachev.

Islam shared his immediate reaction to the result on X.

"Justin is a warrior, keep your head up champ! Spectacular performance by Max, congrats," the pound-for-pound No.1 posted.

Jon Jones also commented on Holloway’s victory, saying: “Enjoy that 300k Max”, in reference to Dana White upping the post-fight bonuses from $50,000 to $300,000.

Holloway was moving up a weight class to challenge for the 'BMF' belt against former interim lightweight champion Gaethje, who won the strap last July with a stunning head-kick KO against Dustin Poirier.

Max got into his flow early on and in the first round landed a last-gasp spinning kick that left Gaethje with a broken nose.

By the fifth, he was up on the scorecards and in the dying seconds pointed to the canvas to duke it out with his opponent.

The pair exchanged a barrage of blows but it was Holloway who landed with a clean right hand on Gaethje's jaw to snatch victory with a second to spare.
