Conor McGregor appears to break booze ban as he unwinds in Dublin after Michael Chandler fight is postponed

Conor McGregor partied in his Dublin pub and appeared to break his self-imposed booze ban.
McGregor had claimed he would give up drinking to focus on his UFC comeback against Michael Chandler, but their June 29 showdown has been postponed after he suffered an undisclosed injury.
An official date has yet to be scheduled for their reorganised octagon meeting, but in the meantime the Irishman has returned to the Black Forge Inn.
Having come so close to breaking the ban before when sniffing a pint of his Forge Irish Stout, it appears he has done just that this time.
On his Instagram story, he posted a picture of himself appearing to sip a pint of his branded stout.
Another video emerged on TikTok, which showed the former two-weight champion quaffing another pint with two attendees at his establishment.
This is not new behaviour for the UFC superstar, who has attended a large range of pubs and plush partying spots during his three-year hiatus from the cage.
McGregor has spent lots of time in Dublin, as well as in Rome, Ibiza and more since breaking his leg in a defeat to Dustin Poirier in 2021.
He had ensured he had a final blowout before imposing his teetotalism, but it is now unlikely he is training.
Doubts have now been raised over his comeback fight, given his antics outside of the octagon.
His opponent Chandler had been so confident the showdown would take place, having risked other activity to pursue the fight himself.
But in an update on McGregor's future, UFC president Dana White has himself also refused to commit to confirming he will fight again.
He said: "That's a great question, Conor’s going to be 36 in July. He’s got plenty of money.
"I don’t ever think that guys like that, Jon Jones, who knows, maybe he’ll fight again, maybe he won’t. Conor McGregor, maybe he’ll fight again, maybe he won’t.
"You never know with some of the guys that get to that level. You never know if you’re ever going to see them again.
"The other thing with getting older, you get injured a lot easier, you get hurt a lot easier.
"More injuries happen than did when you were younger, and you’re less willing to step in there with an injury than when you were young and hungry and broke.
"The Jon Jones the Conor McGregors, these guys, I’m never very optimistic as it is.
"Conor McGregor never leads up to a fight and tries to renegotiate his contract or get more money. Conor McGregor is hurt right now. It’s absolutely real."
McGregor had spoken publicly of his desire to return in a three-fight year, and reverse his struggling form in the cage.
The 36-year-old has won just once since 2016 in the UFC, but was hoping to campaign at 170lbs with view to receiving a title shot.
But his latest setback has taken away his opportunity to have a year of fighting activity.
