Michael ‘Venom’ Page lost to Jake Paul’s next opponent Mike Perry in brutal bare-knuckle fight that left face’s in bloody mess

Michael 'Venom' Page suffered an upset defeat to Mike Perry in his bare-knuckle boxing debut back in August 2022.
The dynamic striker is set to face Ian Garry on the main card of UFC 303 this weekend in his second fight for MMA's premier promotion.
But before signing on the dotted line with the UFC, Page tried his hand at bare-knuckle boxing.
'Venom' squared off against Perry and went six brutal rounds with the MMA icon in the BKFC 27 main event at London's Wembley Arena.
Perry decked Page in the opening stanza with a clean right hand but the Brit rebounded well in the second round.
The next three rounds were close and competitive with Perry forcing Page onto his heels while the former Bellator cash cow jabbed and moved.
At the end of the fifth round, the judges could not separate the bloodied and bruised competitors, so the fight went to a sudden death round to determine a winner.
When the final bell rang, the judges favoured Perry's unrelenting pressure over Page's slick boxing as 'Platinum' was given the nod on two of the three scorecards.
In the immediate aftermath of the blood-soaked brawl, Perry took to the mic to call out Jake Paul.
"Jake Paul, You need an opponent. You need the money fight, I'm the real money fight. Maybe I'll put the pillows back on if you're scared to get in here," Perry said.
At the time, Paul opted to face Tommy Fury instead, but in a full circle moment, Perry has now landed his bout with the YouTube superstar on July 20.
Paul was supposed to face Mike Tyson in July, however, their crossover clash was pushed back to November 15 after the boxing legend suffered an ulcer flare-up on a flight to Los Angeles that left him nauseous, dizzy and requiring medical attention.
While his representatives insisted he had made a full recovery, further checks by doctors confirmed Tyson would need more time to recover.
With 'The Problem Child' keen not to sit out until November, Paul vs Perry was booked in before his rescheduled fight with Tyson.
While their inaugural encounter is set to be contested in gloves, Paul and Perry have both expressed their willingness to run it back in bare-knuckle boxing.
"I think me and Perry in MMA or bare-knuckle is very interesting," said Paul during a face-off with his rival on the .
"I'm down, I want to do an MMA fight and I think he is a really good opponent for that.
"And maybe bare-knuckle, I haven't thought about it yet, but I'm down. The thing people don't know about me is I'm a crazy mother f***er.
