Dana White credits Tom Brady with making £2billion decision for UFC 306 at Las Vegas Sphere

Tom Brady played an unlikely but pivotal role ahead of UFC 306.
On Saturday night, Dana White will bring combat sports to the futuristic £2billion Sphere in Las Vegas for an event he claims will be the ‘greatest’ in sports history.
However, he insists none of it would’ve been possible without the NFL legend.
Brady, who is a massive UFC fan and often attends events, has formed a strong friendship with White over the years given White's home connections to Massachusetts where Brady spent years as New England Patriot's all conquering quarterback.
The 47-year-old retired star invited his pal to watch a concert at the Sphere, which utilises state-of-the-art technology to create a truly immersive experience for anyone attending a show at the venue.
White was so blown away by the experience that he got to work on a UFC card for the Sphere, which cost over £15million to build and is the most expensive in UFC history.
“I went to the Sphere with Tom Brady,” he told . He invited me to come to U2 with him.
"Had Brady not invited me, I wouldn't even have been to the Sphere yet.
“It's almost like this was meant to be.”
The card headlined by a bantamweight title fight between Sean O’Malley and Merab Dvalishvili is White’s love letter to the people of Mexico on their Independence weekend.
It’ll feature a bunch of short films celebrating the country’s great fighting history on the same night Mexico’s biggest boxing star, Canelo Alvarez, takes on Edgar Berlanga.
Canelo also played a role in making the UFC Sphere show a reality.
Al Haymon, who is overseeing his next fight, swooped in and secured the T-Mobile arena for September 14 before White had the chance to do so.
As a result, the MMA mogul booked the Sphere and the rest is history.
White says whatever happens his promotion will never return to the arena.
He added: "No matter how it plays out, this was supposed to happen.
“It's a one-and-done. I'm under contract with [MGM] and I'll be back with [them] after this event."
