Conor McGregor eyes Nate Diaz trilogy or bouts with Anderson Silva or Georges St-Pierre and promises ‘devastating KO’ of Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229
The 'Notorious' is preparing to face the Russian in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena this Saturday for the lightweight belt

Conor McGregor has teased three incredible fights after vowing to deliver a 'devastating KO' to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229.
The Irishman is predicted to encounter the toughest test of his MMA career when he enters the octagon with the fearsome Russian in Las Vegas on Saturday.
Nurmagomedov is 26-0 and has never lost a round in his professional career. As a specialist wrestler and grappler, it is expected his skill set will be like Kryptonite to McGregor's striking ability.
However, as confident as ever, the 'Notorious' has promised to stop Khabib and is already outlining his future plans.
"It's going to be a devastating KO," McGregor told on Monday evening. "I hope it won't be too early, I don't believe he can take a smack.
"Has he got the chin of Nate Diaz or the poise of Floyd Mayweather?
"He's got a glass jaw that's never had a crack, not from a sniper rifle."
So what next for the man who would surely be able to claim the title of 'Greatest Of All Time' should he dispatch 'The Eagle' so quickly?
"I'm certainly considering a few options," McGregor continued. "There's this fight and the co-main (Tony Ferguson vs. Anthony Pettis). Of course then there's boxing ventures. I'm very excited about that.
"If [Mayweather] has the bottle to come over and deal with this, like he said he has, let's see what happens. I would also like to box him again. Everything is being discussed. Every rule set.
"If it's not an MMA bout, then I don't want to know. It's either a straight MMA bout or a straight boxing bout. If they come looking for modified rules, I would rather just box the kid again. If you don't want to deal with it, then don't deal with it and stop going on like you're doing."
When asked if he could potentially fight fellow two-weight world champion Georges St-Pierre, the Irishman was coy and instead targeted another UFC legend.
He added: "We'll see what happens, but I don't think next. He doesn't really have anything for me personally. I'm not going to shut the door on that down the line. You know what would be another great one? Anderson Silva.
"I would be interested in an Anderson Silva bout. I swear to God. Anderson is a legend in the game. What's the difference between him and Georges? Same damn thing. I'm going to do fights that interest me or have meaning."
While the former middleweight king may seem like a slightly unrealistic target given the 43-year-old is five inches taller and at least 30lbs heavier than his brash challenger, an epic trilogy fight with Nate Diaz seems almost a certainty after two scintillating bouts two years ago.
"Nate Diaz will always have a rematch off of me," McGregor said. "No matter what happens, I will always give that man his rematch. He gave me a rematch, I give him a rematch. That's the way it is. When it will happen, I don't know. We will complete that trilogy, no doubt about it."
