UFC news: Conor McGregor banned from driving for six months after doing 95mph in 60mph zone
The former lightweight champion admitted speeding in his Range Rover

Conor McGregor has been banned from driving for six months after being caught speeding last year.
The controversial UFC star was fined 1,000 euros (£886) and apologised to the judge for an incident in which he drove his Range Rover at 95mph in a 60mph zone near Kill, County Kildare in October 2017.
Such an amount is unlikely to affect the Irishman's bank balance given he is the fourth highest paid athlete for 2017/18 according to the Forbes list.
McGregor appeared in a courtroom packed with loyal supporters in Co Kildare, just west of Dublin earlier today to face charges relating to four offences, one for speeding and the other three with regards to his driving licence.
Dating back to his teens, McGregor has 12 previous traffic offences and after failing to appear in court last Wednesday, he was reminded by Judge Desmond Zaidan of how dangerous his actions were.
"The speed here is in the higher end. Speed kills and that is what makes speeding dangerous," Judge Zaidan said.
"When speeding goes wrong the consequences are catastrophic and life-changing, there is no question about that.
"Sadly we have lost more lives on our roads because of excessive speeding, dangerous speeds and other bad behaviour."
McGregor is currently serving an indefinite suspension from MMA as his lightweight title fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov descended into chaos after he was submitted in the fourth round.
