UFC 244 is shaping up to be a beast of a card already, but WWE legend and highest-earning actor in the world The Rock is set to take it up a notch.
Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz are going to meet in a welterweight clash at Madison Square Garden to headline the event with the one-time 'Bad Motherf*cker' title on the line.
Rock already tweeted out that he is going to do everything in his power to attend the fight and he pretty much speaks for every MMA fan with his excitement - this will be a genuine war with no promotional rubbish beforehand. This fight speaks for itself.
While Rock has respect for both men, Masvidal is a fellow Miami-native and he tweeted out that he will ask UFC president Dana White to have The Rock put the title on him if he wins.
It didn't take long for The Great One to reply and get on board Masvidal's idea. Now, he promises he is doing everything he can to be at the event in New York, which is easier said than done for the busiest man in Hollywood.
Elsewhere on the card at MSG, light-heavyweight phenomenon Johnny Walker takes on Corey Anderson while former heavyweight title contender Derrick Lewis battles Blagoy Ivanov.
