Bellator fighter Alex Avogrado’s eye bulged out of its socket after brutal knee to the face

Bellator fighter Alex Avogrado suffered a horrific eye injury in his defeat to Luca Cecchetti at the weekend.
The Italian fighter took a stunning flying knee in the first round of the bout on Saturday night and almost immediately, the eye began to bleed profusely.
After getting checked over by a doctor, the featherweight was able to continue after somehow managing to convince the doc he could go on.

Later on in the first round, though, Avogrado was forced to retire through the injury and it meant Cecchetti was awarded a TKO win at the Kickboxing 12 event.
As you can see from the picture below, it was gruesome to say the least.
The fact that Avogrado was able to continue fighting after taking such a savage blow is questionable on the doctor's behalf, but the fighter himself showed incredible heart and guts.
Much respect goes to Avogrado.
