UFC champion Jon Jones responds as Jan Blachowicz threatens to ‘fist him’ after appearing to confirm next fight

Jon Jones appears to have confirmed his next opponent as Jan Blachowicz during a series of bizarre - and hilarious - exchanges on Twitter.
The UFC light-heavyweight champion is still dealing with the fallout with his run-in with the Albuquerque Police Department last month, but his professional career appears to have settled somewhat.
Jones has endured two tough defences of his 205lbs title against Thiago Santos and Dominick Reyes, both of whom took the champion the distance and even made him look human.
Although the 32-year-old is adamant he deserved to win both contests, this has not stopped a host of contenders calling for a rematch to capitalise on what they deem to be perceived weakness.
Despite Reyes calling for an immediate rematch with ‘Bones’, it appears as though Polish slugger Blachowicz is next in line for a shot at the pound-for-pound great.
The no.4 ranked light-heavyweight is on a three-fight win streak having beaten the likes of Luke Rockhold, Jacare Souza and Corey Anderson. But he may want to work on his trash talk before a date is officially confirmed.
Jones, albeit slightly perturbed, seemed to confirm the fight was a done deal with a follow-up Tweet.
While it remains to be seen where or even when this fight takes place, Jones taking on Blachowicz proves the light-heavyweight division is still heaving with talent and is as exciting as ever.
