Chael Sonnen believes Brock Lesnar is using Bellator and UFC simply to get a better deal with WWE – again

Former UFC star Chael Sonnen believes that Brock Lesnar is using the MMA world as nothing more than leverage to get a better deal with WWE.
It wouldn't be the first time Lesnar has done this and WWE chairman Vince McMahon has always paid through the nose to ensure he stays his most prized asset.
Bellator and UFC have expressed interest in making fights for Lesnar with Dana White going as far as to say he'd book Lesnar against Jon Jones, the one fight the Beast Incarnate really wants according to Kurt Angle.
Former UFC light-heavyweight contender Sonnen believes Lesnar is just looking after himself and making use of his star power - as the 43-year-old should.
He told : “Will [Scott] Coker [Bellator president] see an advantage to getting his own brand and his own name out there?
“Nobody is making a fool out of Scott Coker, I can tell you that.
“So Coker will allow himself to be used as much as he wants to be used.â€
He continued: “Brock Lesnar is using us, MMA fans and pundits, as nothing more than leverage for him to go and get a better deal. It's very fair game by Brock Lesnar.
“[He's using] a couple of tricks. When they work, you go back to the well and that's what we're seeing.
“Quite frankly, I've got no problem with it! I really don't. It's annoying, but I want to see Brock.
“I actually come from the point of positivity, I'd really like to see Brock, but I'm not falling for it.
“That's why I sound like I have a chip on my shoulder, because I'm not getting my way!â€
Lesnar has been in this position several times before and fans have come to expect it from one of the savviest businessmen the wrestling business has ever seen.
The former UFC heavyweight champion has never kept it a secret that money is his primary motivator, but, at times, his itch to fight for real again has been very real, too.
The way diverticulitis robbed a good portion of Lesnar's career in the octagon has always bothered him, so does he want one last shot at redemption?
