Dana White can’t see a reason why Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov would not be fight to make in Russian’s UFC return

A Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov rematch is the fight to make should the latter fight again.
Considering their money spinning first fight, UFC boss Dana White can't see any other reason why he wouldn't make it.
Their UFC 229 clash is, by far and away, the highest bought fight in MMA history, 750,000 buys clear of the second most bought fight of all-time, McGregor and Nate Diaz II.
First up, the Irishman has to defeat Dustin Poirier at UFC 257.
Secondly, White has to convince Khabib to reverse his recent retirement and realise his late father's wishes of reaching 30-0.
Those close to Khabib have insisted a dream fight with Georges St. Pierre is the most realistic way White can get him back in the cage, but the UFC's head honcho would like McGregor to be that man.
In an interview with ESPN, White said: "Is Conor the right opponent? Yes. Listen, no matter what you think of Conor personally, Conor McGregor is not only one of the best in the world, but one of the best to ever do it.
"Right now, he's as focused as he has ever been. I don't know if this is going to be the same Conor after the Poirier fight. Like you said, Conor goes like this [motions arm up and down].
"But, if this Conor sticks around for the next year, how do you not do Conor versus Khabib again, right?"
As well as money, one can imagine McGregor would like to right what he perceives as a wrong from their first fight when he was beaten. However, what he and the company might want and what Khabib wants remains to be seen.
