Conor McGregor can’t wait for next fight as he tells Dustin Poirier ‘you broke my leg, you b******’ as he hobbles out of arena on a crutch after shock UFC 257 defeat

Conor McGregor hobbled out of the Etihad Arena on crutches and told Dustin Poirier his leg was in pieces after their main event.
Poirier avenged his 2014 loss to McGregor by beating his lightweight rival with a second-round TKO on Fight Island in Abu Dhabi.
The Notorious’ rhythm was disrupted by several kicks to his right leg and he was then floored by a short right hand, before The Diamond landed another couple of heavy blows to force a dramatic stoppage.
McGregor was heard complaining to his team about his calf immediately after his loss and was then filmed laughing with Poirier backstage, telling him: “You broke my leg, you b******.’”
In a gracious interview after the fight, McGregor praised the skill of Poirier and said he felt the full force of his kicks.
”It's heart-breaking and hard to take. My leg is completely dead. It's like an American football in my suit at the minute.
"If you put in the time in here, you're going to get cosy in here and I just have to dust it off and come back and that's what I will do.
“I need activity, you don't get away with being inactive in this business.
"As long as you stay active and as long as you compete, things shape around you. You show up, you reap the rewards. That's what happened for Dustin and it's what's happened against me.
"I'll keep my eyes on the prize. Don't write me off yet, I'll make my adjustments and keep moving.
“I'll go back, get healthy and I'll re-prepare. I've got to a great place in my body physically and I'll continue to grow that."
McGregor was competing for the first time since easily beating Donald Cerrone within 40 seconds 12 months ago.
And on Sunday morning, McGregor revealed he was looking forward to part three.
“Thanks for the support everyone," he tweeted. "Was not my night/morning in there but a great contest to improve on.
“I’m excited at the blockbuster trilogy I now have on my hands.
“Dustin is a hell of a competitor and I look forward to going again. God bless us all, happy Sunday.”
