Paddy Pimblett replicates Conor McGregor by scoring first round KO on UFC debut before asking Dana White to be included in EA Sports game

Paddy Pimblett announced himself to the world as a potential UFC superstar with a stunning first round knockout on his debut, just as Conor McGregor did eight years ago.
The former Cage Warriors champion is hoping to join the likes of McGregor, Michael Bisping and Joanna Jędrzejczyk by winning UFC gold after domestic success.
His introduction to the world’s premiere organisation could not have got off to a worse start as he ate a vicious left hook from Luigi Vendramini in the early exchanges.
With his chin in the air and his fan-friendly style in full force, the end was seemingly close for the scouser as his Italian foe lurched forward.
Yet the 26-year-old has the skills to pay the bills and the grit to match as he clamped down on his mouthpiece and duly began to trade with a vengeance.
A crisp right hand started the beginning of the end and the ‘Baddy’ celebrated like a man possessed as the bout was waved off, before delivering a world class promo and putting the lightweight division on notice.
“What did I tell you?” Pimblett told Bisping after the fight. “I’m a scouser.
“We don’t get knocked out.
“I’m here to takeover. I’m the new cash cow. I’m the new man.
“I best be on the game next week. People are going to be calling me out now.”
