‘I thought we were friends!’ Micah Richards ‘blanked’ by Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton while filming in Red Bull kit and joking with Max Verstappen at Singapore Grand Prix
Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton blanked 'fan' Micah Richards in Singapore, the former England and Man City man joked.
Filming for the Sky series 'A League of their Own' Richards was out in Asia along with Alan Carr and Jamie Redknapp.

Previously, Redknapp and Richards had been seen testing the strength of their neck muscles while with the Red Bull team at the Singapore Grand Prix.
The pair were dressed in official gear from the manufacturer and that proved to be a little problematic when the ex-Man City star saw Hamilton trackside.
The pair have met before with the footballer declaring his admiration for the seven-time world champion in an interview ahead of the 2021 season.
But while previously the pair were mates, it would seem that wearing the Red Bull colours put Hamilton off another chat.
In a piece with Sky Sports, Redknapp told Martin Brundle that being in a Red Bull was tough for Richards given his love for Hamilton and the ex-Premier League star revealed the unintended side effect.
He explained: “Hamilton blanked me before. He seen me in the Red Bull gear and walked straight past me. I thought we were friends.â€

Richards was spotted in the paddock at last seaon's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as the title race went down to the wire between Hamilton and Max Verstappen.
He attended the finale alongside Sergio Aguero and Joleon Lescott, while at this season's British Grand Prix a host of other footballers attended, including Trent Alexander-Arnold.
