Brad Pitt spotted at British Grand Prix for Formula 1 movie filming as his intense training regime is revealed

Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt has been seen at Silverstone ahead of filming for his Formula 1 project.
The so far unnamed movie, backed by Apple Studios and producer Jerry Bruckheimer, will star Pitt, alongside British actor Damson Idris.
The duo have been given their own garage space at Silverstone between Ferrari and Mercedes’ garages, displaying Pitt’s character Sonny Hayes and Idris’ Joshua Pearce.
Their fictional team, Apex Grand Prix, have been running a car around the British Grand Prix circuit, with the gold and black liveried vehicle another star of the movie.
But now Pitt has been spotted during Friday practice, and Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has revealed how much preparation the 59-year-old American has been put through.
Speaking to the media, he said: “We’ve been involved pretty early on and when we had the first discussions we sent Brad to a driving school in France.
“He went through all the Formula cars, Formula 4 all the up and we think that was important and we’ve tried to help with the narrative.
“Lewis [Hamilton] is an executive producer and he wanted to make sure that when the movie comes out it will be as realistic as possible. We had a few laughs but I think it’s a very, very good narrative.
“The effort they put in to use an F2 car and build the bodywork around it to look like an F1 car.
“There's two garages and people working with them, we tried to give them the designs so they could be as realistic as possible.
“You see how much effort, that is such an effort. When you go in the garage and the whole set up behind it, it’s incredible.â€
