Sebastian Vettel wins F1 title after thrilling Brazilian Grand Prix

Sebastian Vettel has won the Formula One drivers’ championship for the third time in a row after surviving a first lap scare in the season ending Brazilian Grand Prix.
Going in to turn four on the first lap Bruno Senna clipped the back of his Red Bull and sent the car spinning, but the German managed to turn the vehicle around and rejoin at the back of the race.
And Vettel excellently slalomed his way through the pack to finish sixth and become the youngest ever three-time title winner.
His title rival Fernando Alonso, in his cumbersome Ferrari, could only end the race in second after good work from team-mate Felipe Massa who went across the line in third.
McLaren’s Jenson Button was the victor in Brazil but the attention was all on the race for the title, while team-mate Lewis Hamilton, in his last race for McLaren, had to retire after he was hit by Nico Hulkenburg, next season he will join the Mercedes team.
