NFL star Travis Kelce ‘tried and failed’ to give Taylor Swift his number during Kansas City show
Travis Kelce revealed how he tried and failed to give Taylor Swift his phone number at a recent concert.
The 'Shake It Off' hitmaker was performing in Kansas City when the Chiefs star attended with a brilliant plan to try and meet the superstar.
Speaking on his podcast , Kelce said: "I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.
"If you're up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it."
Asked why he wasn't able to meet her, the two-time Super Bowl winner said: "So she doesn’t meet anybody and she doesn't - or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal."
However Travis Kelce's brother, Jason of the Philadelphia Eagles, had another theory, saying: "Well, she probably just hasn't gotten over the Super Bowl yet.

"She's a big Eagles fan, so maybe she just made something up and just didn't wanna talk to you."
Despite his disappointing setback at the concert, Kelce may have got his wish after all with reporting that the two are now 'hanging out' after finally meeting in New York a few weeks ago.
