Julian Edelman’s first impression of an attractive Tom Brady left Jason and Travis Kelce in stitches

Julian Edelman remembers one thing the most about his first impression of legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady.
"The dude's handsome," said Edelman, while appearing on the hosted by football brothers Jason and Travis Kelce.
Roaring laughter immediately followed from the Kelce brothers.
Then Edelman, who who won three Super Bowls and was the MVP of Super Bowl LIII, doubled down on his first glance at the greatest QB of all time.
"Tall and handsome," Edelman said. "I literally walked in through the locker room. I had my big 20-inch binder of plays, because we used to have playbooks.
"I walked in and almost dropped it. I'm like, 'Damn, he's tall. He's handsome.' "
Edelman was a perfect wide receiver for Brady and the duo have remained close since.
When Brady was recently honored by the New England Patriots for his retirement from the NFL, Edelman said that the sight of watching his ex-QB run back onto the field got him fired up.
The 5-foot-10, 198-pound Edelman wasn't drafted until the No. 232 overall pick during the seventh round in 2009.
Brady was famously the No. 199 overall selection in 2000.
NFL teams passed on Edelman and Brady over and over.
When they finally connected on the field, Edelman joked that he was first blown away by Brady's attractive looks.
Then they started regularly tearing up opposing defenses as Bill Belichick's squad kept adding to its dynasty run.
Brady won six Super Bowls with New England and a seventh with Tampa Bay.
Edelman, who was drafted out of the overlooked Kent State, spent 11 seasons being one of the Patriots' primary targets.
The speedy, crafty and tough wideout recorded 620 career receptions for 6,822 yards and 36 touchdowns.
Edelman twice caught at least 100 passes in a year.
He also came through in the Patriots' biggest games with Brady continually believing in the wideout.
In the playoffs, Edelman caught 118 total balls for 1,442 yards and five TDs, which is a great regular season for most NFL receivers.
He also collected three Super Bowl rings and was almost unstoppable in SB LIII, catching 10 passes for 141 yards.
Now that he’s retired along with Brady, Edelman said that post-NFL life has its challenges.
"Good, bad and boring," Edelman said.
He was used to a daily whirlwind that featured a set schedule and multiple meetings to attend.
Now, Edelman is like most people.
"I have to go to weddings,†Edelman joked. “I have to go to podcasts."
