Cardinals quick to fix error that left QB Josh Dobbs unable to buy his own shirt in team shop

Josh Dobbs had one of the best games of his NFL career last Sunday.
A few days later, the veteran quarterback who pulled off the shock of Week 3 by beating the Dallas Cowboys couldn’t buy his own jersey in the Arizona Cardinals’ team store and jokingly called out his employers.
“Your boy is nowhere to be found,†Dobbs told his followers, as he stared at a list of possible jersey names that didn’t include his in a social media post.
Dobbs wears No. 9.
“We’ve got all the numbers and no number nine,†added the man, who completed 17 of 21 passes for 189 yards, one touchdown and a 120 rating during Arizona's impressive 28-16 victory over the Cowboys.
The mistake was quickly fixed as he updated his fans.
Arizona’s new starting QB pulled a red No. 9 jersey out of a plastic bag.
"They got your boy right," he said smiling in a later video.
"We're officially live in the team shop," he added, saying the mistake was understandable and to mind any insulting comments fans might have for the team shop.
"I just got here a month ago," he explained. "But we're official."
Dobbs has been one of the best early season stories in the NFL.
With Arizona playing without franchise QB Kyler Murray, who’s recovering from a major injury, the Cardinals waited until Week 1 to name their starter.
Dobbs has bounced around the league for years after being drafted in the fourth round out of Tennessee in 2017.
He's played in 11 pro games (five starts) and thrown for 1,005 yards and four TDs.
When Dobbs recorded two touchdowns against Dallas, it represented half of his career TD throws.
It was another special moment for Dobbs, who received the game ball after the Cardinals stunned the Cowboys in Week 3.
“I had to take it home. Pretty cool full circle moment,†Dobbs said. “First start, obviously, was against the Cowboys. First dub against the Cowboys. So yeah, it's a good feeling. Really great fight by the team, a great finish.â€
