Fans love footage of Josh Allen smashing linebacker as he rushes to defend fallen Buffalo Bills teammate

Buffalo fans love Josh Allen even more after the star quarterback unloaded a protective hit that made the Bills Mafia proud.
During a gritty 14-9 victory over the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football, Allen stood up for his team and his offensive line by going after a Giants defender in the end zone.
A pile up near the goal line resulted in Bills lineman Spencer Brown being toppled by a Giant.
As referees got in the middle of the action and attempted to separate the battling players, Brown was knocked down again.
A second later, Allen emerged into the picture, taking up for his fallen teammate and delivering a running shoulder blow to New York linebacker Bobby Okereke.
It's not often that an NFL franchise QB trades on-field licks with a middle-of-the-field defender.

But Allen is taller and heavier than Okereke, and the Buffalo QB has often used his body as an offensive force between the lines.
"JOSH ALLEN YOU ARE A LEGEND!!!" a fan . "You gotta love a QB coming in to defend his lineman. I’d run through a brick wall for that guy."
Allen and the Bills fought through a tough game to collect the win.
Buffalo running back Damien Harris was taken off the field in an ambulance.

Teammate Damar Hamlin, who suffered cardiac arrest while playing last season, was visibly emotional as Harris was injured.
On Sunday, Allen only threw for 169 yards while the Bills were held scoreless in the first half.
“We’re a much better team than we showed tonight, and showed last week,†Allen, referring to a loss to Jacksonville last week in London. "We got to figure out why that is, and how to get ourselves out of a funk early on.â€
Allen also dealt with a shoulder injury and was checked for a concussion.
He underwent X-rays after the game to examine his shoulder.
Buffalo outscored New York 14-3 in the second half to ensure the victory.
The Bills improved to 4-2 and remained in second place in the AFC East.
It's already been an injury-filled season for the Bills.
But Buffalo continues to be a contender in the AFC and Allen's shoulder blow to a Giants linebacker was a reminder of how much is at stake for the Bills in 2023.
