Microphone catch Robert Saleh comment about Eagles record after revelling in displays against Patrick Mahomes and more QBs

Robert Saleh unintentionally let everyone know how happy he was with the New York Jets' surprising win over the previously undefeated Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

The fiery Jets coach praised his team's resilience following a 20-14 home win that pushed Philly to 5-1 and evened the Jets' record at 3-3, despite the Week 1 loss of franchise quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

But it was a postgame comment away from the podium that really left an impact.

"They ain’t 12-0 no more," said Saleh, referring to the fact that the Eagles had previously won all 12 games during a head-to-head matchup with the Jets.

The Jets coach also credited his team with surviving a schedule against elite QBs including Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes.

New York was a preseason AFC contender with Rodgers.

After the veteran QB was lost just four plays into a new year, the Jets have been forced to battle just to get back to .500 ball.

“Through these first six weeks, we’ve played a gauntlet of quarterbacks," Saleh said. "I know we haven’t gotten all wins, but we’ve embarrassed all of them.”

Philly QB Jalen Hurts lamented all of the Eagles' miscues.

Philadelphia committed four turnovers, including three interceptions and a lost fumble.

“You look at this game, you have so many missed opportunities and, really, so many mistakes as if you’re kind of giving it away,” Hurts said.

QB Zach Wilson, who replaced Rodgers and struggled in previous weeks, sounded just like Saleh in describing the Jets' team pride.

“There's no quit in this team,” Wilson said.

The Jets were blown out by Dallas and embarrased by a bad New England team.

But New York played Kansas City close and now has back-to-back wins after stunning the NFL with a tough victory against Philly.

An interception by Tony Adams helped seal the win for the Jets and ensure that the Eagles wouldn't improve to 13-0 against Saleh's team.

"That was huge,” Wilson said. “We needed that one. And he came through for us.”
