Another NFL week is complete.

Another round of winners, losers, Super Bowl contenders, washed seasons and "Aaron Rodgers is walking" tweets.

Here is talkSPORT's inside look at the NFL week that was.

Warning: Hard facts and instant overreactions follow.

Kirk Cousins won't play for the Minnesota Vikings again

Joshua Dobbs was an inspirational story before he came out of nowhere to lead the Vikings to an unbelievable victory against Atlanta.

Now that Minnesota has proven it can win with a third-string QB?

It's harder than ever to envision the Vikings waiting around for Cousins to return.

He'll be 36 next season and coming off a major Achilles injury.

Cousins was a great teammate and put up big passing numbers.

But he hasn't proven it in the playoffs and he won't play for free.

It's time for Minnesota to already be thinking about its next star QB.

With or without Rodgers, the New York Jets' season is done

New York's Super Bowl dreams ended on the fourth play this season.

Sorry, Jets, but that's just the truth.

Rodgers loves the spotlight and never turns down a good tease.

After the veteran QB walked a little more and few a couple passes, he hinted that his return was just a few weeks away.

If that happens, Rodgers' body should be donated to science.

Either way, the Jets aren't overpowering Kansas City, Baltimore, Jacksonville, Miami and Cincinnati this year.

The Las Vegas Raiders will run out of cigar smoke

Watching the Raiders puff and puff inside a celebratory locker room was cool.

But when you remember that unproven rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell plays in the same conference as Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson and Tua Tagovailoa, it already feels like the Raiders are smoked.

Las Vegas still faces Miami, the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City (twice).

While interim head coach Antonio Pierce is saying the right things, the reality is that the Raiders aren't good enough to survive in 2023.

The Kansas City Chiefs will fix their offense in time for the Super Bowl

Is anyone really worried about the Chiefs' offense.

Mahomes is the QB.

Andy Reid is the big cheese.

Travis Kelce keeps making history.

Sure, Kansas City was shut down in the second half against Miami in Germany.

But the Chiefs still rank seventh in the NFL in average yards (368.7) and they're 12th in scoring (23.1).

Throw in one of the best defenses in the league, and Mahomes can keep working with Reid until the Super Bowl to fix Kansas City's offensive issues.

The NFL has a serious roughing the passer problem

It's become impossible to get through an NFL weekend without constant tweets and social media posts showing how messed up officiating has become.

When did it become a rule that you have to sack a QB by not touching the QB?

With Josh Allen being flagged for pointing a finger and defensive players being heavily penalized just for making old-fashioned body contact, it's become impossible to understand the NFL's overprotection of its QBs.

Factor in that Rodgers and Cousins were lost to major injuries that didn't require heavy contact, and it's time for the NFL to pocket its embarrassing yellow laundry and start protecting defensive players just doing their jobs.
