Baltimore Ravens star Odell Beckham Jr. looks baby faced without signature beard nine years on from the catch

Since joining the NFL in 2014, Odell Beckham Jr. has been one of the most stylish and well put together players in the league.

The famous fashionista's outfits and looks have always been on point, including his beard which is consistently groomed to perfection.

However, once upon a time, OBJ was a fresh-faced college player honing his skills at Louisiana State University.

Beckham Jr.'s athleticism, size and speed developed over three years at LSU, where, as a freshman, he had 41 passes for 475 yards and two touchdowns in 14 games.

The baby-faced wideout announced himself on the national stage during his third year at LSU when he exploded for 57 receptions for 1,117 yards and eight touchdowns.

Beckham Jr. was named the winner of the 2013 Paul Hornung Award, presented to the most versatile player in major college football.

He subsequently skipped his senior year to declare for the 2014 NFL Draft, where he was a top pick.

By the time the New York Giants drafted Beckham Jr. with the twelfth overall pick, his facial fuzz was already starting to grow.

OBJ rocked a neat goatee on draft day as the beard we all recognise today started to take shape.

As his reputation grew, so did the beard and his incredible catch against the Dallas Cowboys in 2014 - arguably the greatest catch ever - catapulted him into superstardom all the while his status off the field was growing.

His platinum blonde hairstyle became his signature look as lucrative sponsorship deals with the likes of Nike, Head & Shoulders and Foot Locker soon followed.

He won the 2014 Offensive Rookie of the Year award, and two years later became the fastest player in NFL history to reach both 200 career receptions and 4,000 career receiving yards.

Various hairstyles - and teams - came and went, including a short, all purple look which Odell sported when he joined the Baltimore Ravens at the start of the 2023 season.

After missing the entirety of last season with the Los Angeles Rams due to a knee injury, OBJ has 24 catches for 374 yards and two touchdowns with the Ravens this season.

In Baltimore's 34-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, Beckham Jr. generated 116 yards on four catches, his most receiving yards in a game since 2019 (161 yards with the Cleveland Browns).

Heading into Thanksgiving, the Ravens have emerged as clear Super Bowl contenders. After beating the Bengals, Baltimore should clinch the AFC North, but after the Chiefs fell to the Eagles they may have their sights on the conference's top seed.

The Ravens have not finished No.1 in the AFC since 2019. They now find themselves in that position with an 8-3 record, ahead of the Chiefs, Browns, Dolphins and Jaguars, who are all 7-3 for the season.

They have trips to San Francisco and Jacksonville on the horizon as well as a home matchup with the Dolphins.

The status of All-Pro TE Mark Andrews will likely have a big impact on their season, but either way players like OBJ will have a big say on how far they go this season.

But, forgetting the serious stuff for a second, it's just great to see OBJ back to doing what he does best following his injury.
