Chiefs head coach Andy Reid’s blunt two-word response to Travis Kelce’s angry helmet throw
The Kansas City Chiefs endured a frustrating festive period.
The reigning Super Bowl champions on a huge downward spiral having lost three of their last four games including a 14-20 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day.

Several Chiefs stars including Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have been left visibly frustrated by the underwhelming performances of late.
Kelce in particular was massively irked during the Raiders defeat and could be seen slamming his helmet into the turf after a failed possession in the second quarter.
Later on in the game the Kansas City tight end was seen having a rather serious looking conversation with head coach Andy Reid, who didn't appear best pleased.
When asked what the issue was between him and Kelce on the sideline, Reid bluntly simply said, "things happen".

'Big Red' later explained that Travis is simply an "emotional" player and that sometimes things spill over.
"He went back in and did a nice job," Reid said. "Things happen. Emotional game. Travis is emotional, and sometimes my red hair gets to me a little bit. But it all works out."
When asked if he believes frustrations are reaching an unhealthy level, he confidently responded, "Nah, I don't think so."
However, Kelce wasn't the only star player to lose his cool against the Raiders.

Mahomes was spotted giving his offense a stern talking to as he attempted to fire them up for the crucial divisional clash.
The quarterback has looked irritated on the sidelines in numerous games this season - including vs the Patriots recently - as the KC wide receiver group continues to make costly mistakes.
The 9-6 Chiefs aren't officially in crisis mode yet but they're having an uncharacteristically poor regular season.
They are out of contention for the No. 1 seed in the AFC but remain in the hunt for the No.3 seed.
They are still atop the AFC West and can secure the division next Sunday vs the Bengals or in Week 18 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
