Jason Kelce blasts ‘disrespectful’ David Tepper and says he’d rather get punched in the face than have drink thrown at him

Jason Kelce has made his feelings about Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper abundantly clear.
Tepper was fined $300,000 by the NFL after video footage captured him throwing a drink at a fan during the closing moments of his team's 26-0 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
It wasn't clear what sparked Tepper's reaction but on a recent episode of their New Heights podcast the Kelce brothers have blasted his 'disrespectful' actions.
Jason even insisted he'd rather get punched in the face than have a drink thrown over him.
"Throwing a drink, or like spitting on somebody is just like - I’d rather you just punch me in the face," the Eagles center said.
"I don’t know why that is so much more disrespectful to somebody. There's an air of like, ‘I’m better than you’ in that toss.' Is that fair to say or am I being a little too harsh?
"Punching me in the face out of anger is not disrespectful. Throwing a drink on me or spitting on me is disrespectful. Does that make sense?"
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis seemed to agree with his brother, calling it "snooty."
"I think you're on to something, I'm with you on this. It's almost like, "F*** you, I'm higher up than you."'
"Shout out to the frustrating times that this guy is going through right now just getting heckled by Jaguar fans now," Travis added.
Footage of the billionaire throwing his drink from his owner's box towards the crowd at the Jaguars' EverBank Stadium went viral last weekend.
The outburst came after quarterback Bryce Young threw an interception with less than three minutes to play of the blowout loss.
The Panthers (2-14) dropped to 0-9 on the road following the defeat and guaranteed themselves the NFL's worst record this season with a game to play.
The 66-year-old hedge fund manager was fined for the outburst and later apologised.
"I am deeply passionate about this team and regret my behavior on Sunday," Tepper said. "I should have let NFL stadium security handle any issues that arose. I respect the NFL’s code of conduct and accept the League’s discipline for my behavior."
The NFL said in a statement: "All NFL personnel are expected to conduct themselves at all times in ways that respect our fans and favourably reflect on their team and the NFL."
Tepper took over the team in 2018. They have failed to make the playoffs in all six of his seasons in charge during which time they have compiled a 31-67 record.
To make matters worse, the Panthers won’t even get the No.1 overall pick in this year's NFL Draft after they traded it to the Bears for the top pick which they used to select Young.
