Packers quarterback Jordan Love creates NFL playoff history to cash $500k bonus in Dallas demolition

Jordan Love made his first NFL playoff game look easy.
The Green Bay quarterback made his first postseason start as the No.7 Packers took on No.2 Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.
Love produced an inspired performance to lead his team to a shock 48-32 win and punch the Packers' ticket to the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs next week.
The first-year starter became the first quarterback to record a perfect passer rating (158.3), completing 16 of his 21 passes for 272 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Only two other quarterbacks have had a perfect passer rating in a playoff game, Peyton Manning in 2003 and Terry Bradshaw in 1976.
Add 'Love 2024' to that list.
It caps a remarkable turnaround for a side that started the year 3-6.
Since then, they've won 7 of their last 9 games.
Love has thrown for 21 TDs and just 1 interception in that stretch.
They became the first No.7 seed to win in the NFL playoffs and in doing so ended Dallas' 16-game unbeaten run at home.
The result also saw Love pocket $500,0000.
His Green Bay contract contained a $500k escalator for his 2024 base salary which was triggered by the Packers' playoff victory over the Cowboys.
ESPN analyst Shannon Sharpe was just one of a number of NFL commentators to be full of praise for the 25-year-old Utah State product.
The Hall of Fame former tight end said: "Jordan Love about 2 get Top 5 qb money…. EARNED EVERY PENNY HE GETS."
The Packers will look to build off the positive momentum in the next round when it travels west to take on the No. 1 seed San Francisco 49ers.
