George Kittle is preparing for the biggest game of his NFL career - but he may already have an eye on what to do when he hangs up his boots.

All eyes will be on the 49ers tight end when his side face the Chiefs on Super Bowl Sunday but it's not the only sport he's made cool.

'Stone Cold' Kittle has been open about his love for wrestling throughout his football career and voiced his opinion on WrestleMania during Opening Night in Las Vegas.

The 30-year-old even made a cameo at last year's Mania, breaking free from the crowd to help broadcaster Pat McAfee defeat The Miz.

His fandom led to him connecting with Women's Royal Rumble winner Bayley, a Bay Area native and a major 49ers fan.

'The Role Model', a frequent visitor at Levi’s Stadium, recently gifted Kittle with a custom 49ers championship belt after the pair collided at the 49ers regular season home finale last month.

In an exclusive interview with talkSPORT's talkWRESTLING podcast, Bayley revealed Kittle's public appreciation of WWE has helped it seem cool again.

She said: "We talked a little bit at WrestleMania, that was the last time I saw him at a wrestling event - the one he was involved in.

"We haven't been able to really talk about our history growing up watching it, but I always like to use him as an example because he makes wrestling seem cool.

"Nowadays, you kinda have to be a die-hard WWE fan like, 'Oh you still watch wrestling'.

"But he's so mainstream and the Niners are so on top of the world where he makes wrestling cool again so I always have to throw him out there.

"Cool people still watch WWE."

Kittle's appearance at WrestleMania 39 saw him follow in the footsteps of McAfee and Rob Gronkowski in crossing over to WWE.

Bayley - who sported Kittle's No.85 jersey on an episode of RAW last month - teased the idea of the TE making the switch permanent once he retires.

On Kittle doing more with the WWE in the future, Bayley told talkSPORT: "Yeah, I don't see why not.

"I'm sure there's like a few bucket-list things he'd love to do and they would love to have him as well.

"It's crazy seeing Pat [McAfee] do that stuff because those types of athletes are naturally gifted where it's like you could show them a couple of things and they're so talented and gifted that they could just pick things up like that where it took me six months to learn that move.

"I had to tell him, next WrestleMania, he could help me out or something!"

In the meantime, Kittle is busy preparing for the Super Bowl - when he's not revealing his thoughts on who should headline Mania.

Kittle and co will hope to strike it rich in Sin City, but even if they fall short in claiming the NFL's biggest prize, Bayley was keen to heap praise on Kyle Shanahan's men.

She said: "They're killing it. It's been the best!

"I've been lucky enough to go to a few games - luckily I have a great relationship with the 9ers, the stadium so they've been able to bring me in, been able to say hi to Kittle a couple of times.

"I've really just been enjoying their games.

"I don't get to watch it as much when I'm on the road or when I'm out working so whenever I'm home I just have to go the games.

"It's such a great atmosphere, it's so much fun and I could say that they've been winning the games and matches that I wish I was winning but they've gotta represent the Bay area...

"Someone's gotta do it!"
