Chiefs coach Andy Reid has no problem with Taylor Swift being around – except one time she hurt his feelings

Like most human beings, Andy Reid is a huge Taylor Swift fan.
Except for the one time that Swift really hurt his feelings.
The reigning Super Bowl champion and leader of the NFL's newest dynasty told another hilarious Swift story.
This one involved food, like so many of Reid's best stories.
"She likes to cook," Reid told during the NFL Scouting Combine. "So she made the offensive linemen these homemade Pop Tarts."
The veteran Chiefs coach is a big foodie, especially when it comes to cheeseburgers.
But while Swift went out of her way to take care of the men who block for Patrick Mahomes and carve a path for her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, Reid ended up feeling left out on Pop Tarts day.
"She didn't give me one," Reid joked. "And the offensive linemen definitely didn't give me one."
The 65-year-old coach has been one of Swift's biggest champions during her time with the Chiefs.
He joked early in the 2023 season that he helped set up the pop music superstar and Kansas City's Pro Bowl tight end.
Reid also pointed out Swift from a celebratory podium as the Chiefs made their way back to the Super Bowl.
The highly respected coach first met Swift during his time leading the Philadelphia Eagles.
More than a decade later, he's a bigger fan than ever.
Reid just wishes that she had made him a special homemade Pop Tart.
Thankfully, though, there's no lingering bad blood because of Swift's rookie mistake.
"I knew her dad and her mom -- good, solid people," Reid said. "I met her when she was young. And she's so grounded for who she is.
"I mentioned somewhere that since the Queen passed away, she might be the most famous woman in the world, but she handles it."
That's high praise coming from Reid.
Now, all Swift needs to do is make an extra Pop Tart next time for the best coach in the NFL -- or at least give Big Red the recipe.
