On Sunday, the four-time Olympic gold medallist competed in the gymnastics qualification round, overcoming a calf issue to dominate the vault, beam, bars and floor and create yet more history.

Biles' husband, Chicago Bears safety Owens, doesn't fly to Paris until 29 July and appeared on Good Morning Football's return show earlier today to wish his wife good luck.

"Baby, I can't wait to see you," he said.

"Couple more days and I'll be there so congrats and keep doing. Good luck baby, I miss you so much."

Owens has already showed support to the gymnastics GOAT during her short stint in the French capital.

He first wrote, 'We locked in' on text across the screen as the introduction for Team USA played. He also added 'Flawless' across the screen and a clip of her on the vault as he wrote: 'No words.'

“Let’s gooooooo!!!!!” Owens wrote alongside a video of her strong vault.

Earlier this month, it emerged that the Bears had given Owens a few days off from their training camp to allow him to see his wife in action.

"The Bears are actually granting him a couple days off from training camp, so he'll be there, yes," Biles said, grinning. "For just a short little time."

“Obviously the Olympics were coming up and you know who my wife is,” he told . “It was all respectful. We went to them and asked, ‘We’d really appreciate if he could go to support his wife.’”

“I can’t wait to be able to support her,” he continued. “It’s the person you love most, man, and you see them out there in a position where someone could get hurt and you care. I’m just holding my breath and I have my little piece of paper right there ready calculating everything so I can’t wait.”

Owens and Biles' romance began in March 2020 after meeting on an app when the NFL star was still a member of the Houston Texans.

The budding couple hit it off over their love of pets - she has two bulldogs, he has one - and their relationship soon blossomed.

Fast forward to April 2023 and the lovebirds exchanged wedding vows during an intimate courthouse ceremony in Houston, Texas.

Weeks later the power couple tied the knot for a second time with a lavish ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
