Unseen angle of David Montgomery touchdown that Jason Kelce loved emerges as Lions teammate explains what it’s like to be hit by his power

David Montgomery was the battering ram the Lions needed in order to edge a thrilling 26-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
The bruising running back sealed a win with the walk-off rushing touchdown in overtime to get Detroit's seasoning-opening party off to the best possible start.
Montgomery rushed 17 times for 91 yards and a touchdown against the Rams.
He came up huge in OT, carrying the ball five times for 45 yards and the game-winning score - running over the Rams defense a yard from the endzone.
After the game, Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson revealed what it's like to be on the receiving end of Montgomery's awesome power.
"David, he runs like that in camp, he's hit me a couple of times in camp and you can feel his power," Hutchinson said.

"He's just a little bowling ball in there."
Hutchinson wasn't the only person impressed with Montgomery's ability to drive with the ball.
Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce revealed how the play had got him pumped up.
"Wow, Detroit just ran the ball down their throat," Kelce posted on X.

Fans on social media were also in awe of Montgomery's late-game heroics.
"David Montgomery is special, man," posted one fan.
"There's no better fit than David Montgomery and the Detroit Lions," a second added.
The Lions came through a nail-biter in a repeat of last year's NFC Wildcard game, which they also won.
They led 17-3 in the third quarter after quarterback Jared Goff threw a 52-yard touchdown pass to Jameson Williams, who finished with a career-high 121 receiving yards.
However, the Matthew Stafford led Rams fought back with TDs from Kyren Williams and Cooper Kupp to help force OT.
Stafford spent the first 12 seasons of his NFL career with the Lions and completed 34-of-49 pass attempts for 317 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
Early in the game, he had to get checked after twisting his ankle and Lions head coach Dan Campbell admitted he was reluctant to let his players hit him for the rest of the game.
"It's almost like you don't want to hit him because when you hit him he plays better," said Campbell.
Lions quarterback Goff, who was acquired by Detroit as part of the Stafford trade, was 18-for-28 for 217 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
Goff and the Lions did just about enough to claim the Week 1 victory, but Campbell knows there's still plenty of room for improvement.
"We got to get better and whether we won or lost today, we got to get better, and we we won," he told reporters after the game.
"We still have to get better and we'll clean all this up and then and we got to play better against Tampa next week."
