Tom Brady's massive $375million Fox Sports contract makes him the highest paid NFL announcer by a country mile.

The legendary quarterback is raking in $37.5million per year in the booth - more than double Tony Romo's $18million CBS Sports package that ranks second.

Not bad for a man who was still playing the game two years ago.

Brady and Romo will both be calling games this weekend as the playoffs really get going in the Divisional Round.

All eight teams have a gifted passer at the helm - it is nearly impossible to get to this stage without one in the modern NFL.

But how does Brady's industry-leading deal stack up?

MORE ON NFL

Well he's not last as Houston Texans star C.J. Stroud and Jayden Daniels of the Washington Commanders are still on their rookie deals.

Stroud -- the second overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft -- is making $9million annually, while Daniels is on $9.4million after going in the same spot a year later.

Brady will earn more this season than Stroud makes over his four-year rookie deal -- and just $250,000 shy of Daniels' total package.

But the GOAT cannot stack up against the senior quarterbacks, who are all taking home at least $40million per year.

Matthew Stafford props up that list after signing a four-year, $160million extension with the Los Angeles Rams in 2022.

The six-year, $258million contract Buffalo Bills sensation Josh Allen signed in 2021 is up next.

Patrick Mahomes is Brady's heir apparent and possibly the only man who can surpass his Six Super Bowl triumphs.

He already has three with the Kansas City Chiefs but his 10-year, $450million negotiation from 2020 doesn't crack the top three best-paid QBs still in the hunt.

The Philadelphia Eagles made Jalen Hurts the highest-earning player in NFL history by tying him down for five years in a deal worth $255million in April 2023.

But that has already been beaten twice.

Lamar Jackson, who is closing in on a third MVP award thanks to his form with the Baltimore Ravens, got $260million over five years a month later.

Underdog Jared Goff, who was consigned to the scrapheap after the Rams used him as a makeweight in their trade for Stafford, completed his rise to top dog in May 2024.

The Detroit Lions are paying Goff $212million over four years - more than any of his seven rivals at this stage.

Only Joe Burrow, who did not make the playoffs, is earning more per season with $55million added to his account before taxes each year.

One thing is for sure, whether it is on the field or in the booth, QBs are king when it comes to bringing home the bacon.

And with so many stars on show, there is sure to be plenty of sizzling action over the weekend.
