Russell Wilson is running out of options.

The 36-year-old free agent has seen potential suitors make moves around him, none of which currently include him.

Wilson is a free agent and looking for a new employer after spending the 2024 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The 10-time Pro Bowler has been linked with numerous teams this offseason, including the New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Cleveland Browns.

However, after recent developments, it looks like Wilson's future might be out of his hands.

The Steelers, who showed an interest in re-signing Wilson, reportedly no longer want the quarterback and will not pursue him.

“Nothing shocks me, but I would be very surprised if Russell Wilson, under any circumstances, is back in Pittsburgh," NFL Network Tom Pelissero reported.

This comes after his former side spent Friday showing fellow free agent Aaron Rodgers around Pittsburgh.

Head coach Mike Tomlin's priority is reported to be signing Rodgers, not Wilson, although the four-time MVP left the Steelers' facility without an agreement in place and a deal far from imminent.

The Giants, another franchise heavily linked with Wilson, also made an interesting move Friday night.

Former Browns signal caller Jameis Winston, another free-agent quarterback, has officially signed with the G Men.

The deal is for two years and $8 million and was confirmed after a social media post by the 31-year-old.

"Start spreading the neWs," Winston posted on his X account Friday, confirming his excitement over his new home with an apple emoji.

Winston's move to New Jersey doesn't necessarily rule out the team making a move for Wilson.

Winston and Tommy DeVito are the only two quarterbacks currently on the Giants' roster, and New York is still expected to add to its quarterback room this offseason.

Co-owner John Mara has gone on record discussing his team's need for a QB1, which could come in the form of Wilson, or a younger alternative in the upcoming draft (the Giants currently hold the No. 3 pick).

With the Giants making moves and Tomlin and the Steelers prioritizing Rodgers, Wilson's options look increasingly limited.

Wilson comes off the back of a very mixed campaign with the Steelers in 2024.

He played 11 games last season as they finished 10-7 and finished the season with a 63.7 completion percentage for 2,482 yards along with 16 touchdowns and five interceptions.
