Adam Peaty stood out after claiming his sixth Olympic medal for Team GB at Paris, but his tattoos got as much attention as his silver.
The English swimmer is covered in body art, making him stand out on the podium following the 100m breaststroke final.
Peaty was denied the chance to match Michael Phelps' record of three straight Olympic gold medals in his event, having claimed Gold in Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.
However, he showed his class by instantly congratulating race winner, Nicolò Martinenghi, and in doing so, put his impressive array of tattoos on show.

Interestingly, Peaty spent many years of his swimming career without tattoos, but that has all changed in recent years.

Peaty's equilibrium tattoo
On Peaty's left bicep, he has the Olympic rings on the inside, with the word 'equilibrium' underneath.
This is linked to his belief that he must maintain balance in all parts of his life to be successful.
Peaty's lion tattoo

One of the more striking images that Peaty has on his body is that of a huge lion on his left shoulder.
He added this one in recognition of his first Olympic gold in Rio de Janeiro when he won the 100m breaststroke and set a world record time of 57.13 seconds.
Within the lion are Roman numerals XXVI, which translates to 2016, when he won that initial gold medal.
Peaty's Poseidon tattoo
Another striking image on his left arm is that of Poseidon.
In Greek mythology, Poseidon is the god of the sea, and this tattoo represents Peaty's connection with water.
Peaty's Conquer Your Demons tattoo
On Peaty's right arm, there is a sword and within it are the words 'conquer your demons'.
This relates to his past mental health struggles, which he has been open about.
Peaty's warrior tattoo
Another prominent feature on Peaty's body is the huge Spartan warrior he has on his right shoulder.
It's almost as big as the lion on the left, and it represents his never-say-die attitude to life.
