Jake Paul makes offer to Olympic boxer who quit fight against rival who failed gender test after being left outraged
Jake Paul has reached out to Angela Carini who stopped her fight with Imane Khelif at the Paris Olympics.
Carini left the ring in tears after stopping her fight with Khelif in 46 seconds, given her rival was controversially included at the Paris Olympics despite failing a gender eligibility test in 2023.

It has generated widespread backlash, with the Italian left distraught and having suffered facial damage after being hit by just two punches in the opening round.
YouTube star Paul, who has become a prominent member of the boxing world, has had his say in a furious outburst on social media.
He tweeted: "This is sickening. This is a travesty.
"Doesn’t matter what you believe. This is wrong and dangerous."

Paul then added in a later tweet: "To Angela Carini although your dreams couldn’t come true today because of the crazy agendas that are at play in our world at the moment, I would love to offer you to fight on an MVP undercard, to show the world your talents on a fair platform and not against a man.
"Internet help this find her."
Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) is Paul's own combat sports promotion company, which represents himself and other fighters including Amanda Serrano.
Internet star Paul is famous for giving rise to influencer boxing after becoming a professional fighter with a 9-1 record, including six knockouts, albeit against questionable opponents.

His offer would represent a professional debut for Italian Carini, who has never fought at professional level at the age of 25, and could well be looking to turn over after her Olympic heartache.
Fans in his comments section tended to agree with his offer, as the controversy over the heartbreaking scenes in Paris continues to mar Thursday's proceedings.

The defeated star revealed afterwards that she had pulled out due to feeling she had been hit harder than ever before in her boxing career.
And in her post-fight interview, she declared: "It hurt so much. I am heartbroken. I went to the ring to honour my father.
"I was told a lot of times that I was a warrior, but I preferred to stop for my health. I have never felt a punch like this.

"I went to my corner and raised my hand and said I'd had enough because my nose hurt so much.
"I've always gone into the ring with honour, I've always fought for my country, loyally, but this time I couldn't as I wasn't able to fight anymore."
She was taken for medical assessment, but not before screaming in frustration that the situation was 'unjust'.
Carini did not shake the hand of her rival Khelif, who will now progress through the last 16 to the quarter final's in the women's category.
Khelif was one of two fighters, along with Lin Yu‑ting of Taiwan, who was given clearance by the International Olympic Committee [IOC] to compete in the women's section of the draw in the French capital.
IBA [International Boxing Association] president Umar Kremlev said last year that DNA tests had 'proved they had XY chromosomes and were thus excluded' from taking their place at the Women's World Boxing Championship in India.
But the IOC had conducted their own due diligence and cleared Khelif, as well as Lin to take her place in the competition.
They released a statement, which read: "All athletes participating in the boxing tournament of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 comply with the competition’s eligibility and entry regulations, as well as all applicable medical regulations in accordance with rules 1.4 and 3.1 of the Paris 2024 Boxing Unit.
“The PBU endeavoured to restrict amendments to minimise the impact on athletes’ preparation and guaranteeing consistency between Olympic Games.”
Prior to the scenes in the ring, the decision had been met by outrage from senior members of the boxing community.
These include female boxing world champions Ebanie Bridges and Claressa Shields, who have regularly opposed the IOC's stance.
Bridges doubled down on those views in an interview with talkSPORT on Thursday.

Asked what her message to the governing body was, Bridges said: "Wake the f*** up. Honestly. I'm all about inclusivity, but this is such a minority and it's taking away girls dreams.
"It's just not fair. Cut the woke s*** and let's be real here. Look at the science."
