talkSPORT lands exclusive three year Cricket New Zealand rights package with England Test series live in February

talkSPORT has today announced it has landed the exclusive broadcasting rights for England’s next three cricket tours of New Zealand. 

The tour dates include a two Test series with England on the 16th-20th and the 23rd-28th February 2023, a three Test series in December 2024, and a white ball tour ahead of the Ashes in 2025.

With these exclusive rights, talkSPORT have now had international winter cricket on the network every year since 2018.

Fans can expect to hear familiar voices from talkSPORT’s award-winning roster of commentators and pundits including double-Ashes winner Steve Harmison, former England captain Mike Atherton, and former Kiwi all-rounders Jacob Oram and Frankie Mackay, as well as commentators Neil Manthorp, Jon Norman, Daniel McHardy and Jarrod Kimber.

talkSPORT cricket continues its long-term partnership with CricViz, who will provide instant statistical input throughout play. talkSPORT's scorer is Garry Morgan.

As an addition to the Following On Podcast, talkSPORT2 listeners will be encouraged to participate in the first ever post-match cricket phone-in straight after play finishes.”

talkSPORT will also offer exclusive commentary on the South Africa v England ODI series on 27th and 29th January and 1st February.

The team will be made up of former England batter Mark Butcher, Ashes winning keeper Matt Prior, former South Africa coach Mickey Arthur, former England bowlers Steve Harmison, Darren Gough and Alex Tudor, Surrey coach Gareth Batty, Durham batter David Bedingham and commentators Jon Norman, Andrew McKenna and Jarrod Kimber.
