Scotland retain Calcutta Cup after comeback Six Nations win at Twickenham as Steve Borthwick is denied winning start in charge of England

Scotland have retained the Calcutta Cup after beating England 29-23 in their Six Nations opener thanks to Duhan van der Merwe's late try.
It is the first time that Scotland have recorded back-to-back wins at Twickenham in what was another enthralling encounter between the two sides.
England have now won just one out of their last six meetings against Gregor Townsend's men.
With the score at 23-22 in England's favour, Steve Borthwick looked to be on course for victory in his first game in charge of the Red Rose.
But Van der Merwe scored a late try in the 75th minute to fire Scotland into the lead.
The marauding 27-year-old had already brought Twickenham to its feet with a stunning first-half try that began in his own half where he then fended off five players.
Finn Russell then converted Van der Merwe's late try as England failed to pick up any further points as Scotland secured a third consecutive Calcutta Cup.
Despite the defeat, there is plenty of optimism going forward for England as they performed with the speed and purpose that was missing in the latter stages of Eddie Jones' reign.

Max Malins scored two tries along with Ellis Genge who bundled the ball over the line in the 48th minute.
But they ultimately ran out of steam towards the end in what was a seven-try thriller in London.
Speaking after the loss, England fly-half Owen Farrell told ITV: "I think we started 11 days ago and there has been massive improvement it feels like over them 11 days and we were trying to get that onto the field today.
"I thought we did it in large parts. There's some stuff we need to look at and obviously we need to get better at, but we can look at that tomorrow and the day after.
"We'd like to credit the Scotland team on their performance and sticking in it to the end like they did. We'll make sure we get better from here."
He added: "I thought we stuck in the fight very well. Even though Scotland played until the end and sacred their try, it never felt we went away.
"I thought we played some good attacking rugby at times and when we got the ball, we played on the front foot and caused them some problems.
"We'll have a good look at it and make sure we build on it."
Prior to England's defeat to Scotland, Ireland thrashed Wales 34-10 in the opening match of the Six Nations.
Defending champions France take on Italy on Sunday to complete the opening round.
