Magic Weekend: What has been said?

Hull FC full-back Jamie Shaul: “It’s great that we get to play at these top stadiums. The Etihad was unreal and Anfield was great as well, and the whole weekend is just good for the sport.

“The fans all mix with each other, you have one ticket to see all the game and the sun’s usually out.

“Whenever we play Leeds it’s a good game - it’s a tough ask but we’re looking forward to it.”

Castleford winger Derrell Olpherts: “Before I moved up to Super League I’d always be at Magic Weekend myself in the crowd, and having now played in one myself, I know how much they love their rugby up there.

“It’s a great venue to have it at, and playing against Salford is good for me, there will still be a few old faces that I know.”
