County cricket news: Former England batsman Jonathan Trott signs new Warwickshire deal

Former England batsman Jonathan Trott has signed a contract extension to stay at Warwickshire until at least the end of next year.
Three-time Ashes winner Trott, who was appointed Warwickshire's first-class vice-captain last summer under the leadership of his ex-England team-mate Ian Bell, helped his county to the Royal London One-Day Cup title with a man-of-the-match 82 not out in the Lord's final against Surrey.
The 35-year-old South Africa-born batsman has been at Warwickshire since 2002, scoring more than 28,000 runs for them across the formats and winning 127 caps for England - including 52 Tests.
He said: "Warwickshire CCC has played a huge role in my career, and it's a very exciting time to begin my 15th season at Edgbaston.
"I'm thrilled to put pen to paper and commit to the Bears until at least the end of 2018."
