Former England batsman Mark Butcher on Pietersen v ECB saga

Former England and Surrey batsman Mark Butcher joined Kick Off to share his thoughts on Kevin Pietersen’s recent accusations of bullying within the Three Lions set-up.

The South Africa-born star has whipped up a media frenzy with a series of damning claims against a number of team-mates, as well as the England Cricket Board, in his soon-to-be published autobiography.

Butcher, who made eight centuries in 71 Tests for England, says the bullying charges “came as a bolt out of the blue”, and believes Pietersen will never play for England again so has nothing to lose by airing his thoughts to the public.
