Fraser on England’s Ashes selection dilemma

Former England fast bowler Angus Fraser joins Kick Off to share his thoughts on Andy Flower’s England squad selection ahead of the Ashes Series Down Under.

England are beginning their final warm-up before the first Test in Brisbane, but there is still a question mark over the involvement of Steven Finn, Chris Tremlett and Matt Prior.

Fraser says Flower is unlikely to risk Prior, who is suffering from a torn calf muscle, while he is unsure who will get the call up between bowlers Finn and Tremlett.

Being a Middlesex man, the county managing director tips Finn for success in Australia if he is selected, but believes Tremlett’s consistency may give him the nod as the first-choice 3rd seamer at the Gabba.
