Who is favourite to win the 2025 Grand National? Odds and tips as huge support comes in for I Am Maximus

The 2025 Grand National is the talk of the horse racing world as punters return to Aintree this weekend.
This is widely considered the best jumps race in the world, watched by millions globally as 34 runners take on the 4m2f contest in a bid for huge prize money, but it is no easy feat.
The Grand National is live on talkSPORT with an off time of 4pm this Saturday.
This is the feature of all racing for a reason, as this race is contested on the grandest scale with stamina, jumping, grit and determination all tested from these incredible animals.
Corach Rambler cruised to success in 2023, and then last year, it was time for Willie Mullins and Paul Townend to further stamp their authority on jump racing, winning with 7/1 joint favourite I Am Maximus.
That marked the third favourite to win the Grand National in its last five runnings.
Tiger Roll was the third as he claimed two Grand National titles in succession.
I Am Maximus will be looking to emulate Tiger Roll by winning this mammoth task twice and after Willie Mullins dominated Day 1 at Aintree in the Grand National Festival, punters are flocking to the 2024 winner to do it again.

Vanillier finishing 14th of 32 last year should not dissuade you from backing him this year, though.
He went on from that Grand National to run quite poorly in another two contests, which is no surprise as the race can often have a knock-on effect to horses who've completed the National.
But he has really bounced back in 2025 and dropped further in the weights to give him even more of a chance.
To drop 3lb from his latest run at Cheltenham Festival in the Cross Country is very encouraging.
He ran on from way back to claim third and was a big eyecatcher as the grey stormed on to grab a place, especially having almost gone completely the wrong way part way round the Cross Country, which probably cost him a go at challenging for the win.
This horse is one that always finds more at the end and has the kind of attitude that is impossible to train sometimes and that is a desire to run on at the end and win.
He's my only early entry stage tip for now but there are numerous more horses that are intriguing right now.
Most of that is due to the Cheltenham Festival last week opening up the betting.
Stumptown beat both Latenightpass and Vanillier in the Cross Country at Cheltenham Festival, who were both tipped for last year's Grand National.
So he has to be taken seriously, given the way he ran on and took every fence with a certain amount of ease.
Spin the wheel for the Grand National and get a random horse at 30/1 to win the race!
Will you be lucky and get the favourite at huge odds?
