Super League: Last beat first as Huddersfield overcome Warrington

Huddersfield Giants 11-0 Warrington Wolves
Huddersfield turned the Super League table on its head with an 11-0 victory over leaders Warrington, although their second win of the season was not enough to lift them off the bottom after Leeds' victory over Hull.
The Giants mastered the greasy conditions at the John Smith's Stadium, largely through the boot of an impressive Danny Brough, to halt their five-match losing run and condemn the Wolves to a second successive defeat.
In a game of few chances, Huddersfield managed a try in each half through threequarters Aaron Murphy and Leroy Cudjoe and defended superbly to keep their own line intact.
Warrington, who left out winger Tom Lineham, sorely missed the kicking game of injured half-back Chris Sandow and made far too many handling errors to be truly competitive, ending the game without getting on the scoresheet.
Leeds Rhinos 20-18 Hull FC
Leeds defied the form book as they edged to a 20-18 victory over Hull in a thrilling Super League clash at a rain-soaked Headingley Carnegie.
The defending champions went into the game second from bottom following four straight defeats, in stark contrast to Hull's five wins in a row which had taken them third.
But the Rhinos dug deep to earn a crucial win which moved them back to within eight points of the top four.
Leeds went into half-time with a slender 8-6 lead courtesy of Jordan Lilley's penalty after Jimmy Keinhorst and Chris Green had exchanged converted tries.
Kirk Yeaman put Hull in front for the first time but Lilley added the extras to his own try to make it 14-12 to the Rhinos heading into the closing stages.
Jamie Jones-Buchanan powered his way over to give Leeds breathing space only for Danny Houghton to set up a grandstand finish.
Jordan Thompson chased his hack forward with open field in front of him in a dramatic finish but Ash Handley ran back to kick the ball dead and spark wild celebrations.
Wigan Warriors 26-12 Castleford Tigers
Wigan bounced back from their shock 62-0 hammering at Wakefield last weekend with a hard-fought 26-12 victory over Castleford at the DW Stadium.
The Warriors suffered their heaviest defeat in over a decade in going down at Belle Vue last Sunday although two tries from John Bateman and one apiece for Lewis Tierney and Nick Gregson helped them get back to winning ways.
Matty Smith converted all four tries and added a penalty to boot, with Castleford's scores from Denny Solomona and Grant Millington, with Luke Gale adding the extras, proving mere consolation.
Shaun Wane largely stuck with the inexperienced side that were humbled by Wakefield as only two changes were made, with Bateman coming in for Jack Higginson and Dom Crosby taking the place of Jack Wells on the bench for his first appearance of the season.
Tigers coach Daryl Powell made one change from the starting line-up that beat Widnes last week with Oliver Holmes starting in the second row and Matt Cook dropping to the bench.
