Wade extends London Wasps contract

England winger Christian Wade has extended his contract at London Wasps.
The 22-year-old has 18 months left to run on his current deal at Adams Park but the club have moved quickly to tie him down to improved terms, however they declined to say how long the new deal is.
Wade was joint top try scorer in the Aviva Premiership last season with 13 scores alongside team-mate Tom Varndell and his performances earned him a call up to Stuart Lancaster's England squad.
With one cap to his name so far, the Wasps man was nailed on to make the Red Rose's Six Nations squad until he suffered foot ligament damage in December.
Wade told the club's official website: "The last few years have been amazing for me.
"Playing for England is a dream come true and pulling on a Lions jersey in the summer was something that I never expected.
"It was Wasps who gave me the platform to go on and do those things and I am extremely grateful for the opportunities they have provided me."
Wasps director of rugby Dai Young was thrilled to get the exciting winger to sign a new deal and said: ""He is a young guy with a level head on his shoulders who is always keen to learn and I think that has been obvious in his rapid development in the last few seasons.
"We have got a really good core of young, talented, English players who will form the backbone for this squad moving forward and I am hugely pleased to add Christian's name to that list."
