European Champions Cup rugby: Leinster 6-33 Wasps – Premiership side thrash three-times winners

A clinical Wasps side dismantled Leinster 33-6 in a European Champions Cup pool match in Dublin.
It was only the third defeat in 15 European pool games for the Irish club, who must travel to Bath next Saturday and defending champions Toulon next month in a tough-looking group.
Christian Wade's 29th-minute converted try added to three penalties from Ruaridh Jackson (two) and Elliot Daly to give the Aviva Premiership side a 16-6 lead at half-time.
Joe Simpson then combined with Frank Halai for a seven-pointer, before a close-range penalty from Jackson and a last-minute try from man of the match Charles Piutau condemned Leinster to their biggest European home defeat and worst loss in continental competition in eight years.
