Lawrence Dallaglio SLAMS James Haskell for missing Wasps match to go to Royal Wedding
Lawrence Dallaglio questioned why the flanker was not there to cheer on his team-mates in their Premiership semi-final play-off on Saturday

James Haskell has been criticised by World Cup winner Lawrence Dallaglio for missing a crucial Wasps game to attend the Royal Wedding.
Haskell was among the well-known faces in the crowd as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in Windsor on Saturday, but it meant he missed out on Wasps huge Premiership semi-final play-off against Saracens.
England international and Wasps stalwart Haskell, 33, was ruled out of what would have been his final game for the club he will leave after 12 years at the end of the season when his contract expires with a foot injury.
But former Wasps captain Dallaglio was surprised he chose to attend the Royal Wedding over supporting his team-mates in a vital match which they ultimately lost.
Speaking on Tuesdays Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, Dallaglio said: James was injured, so he wasnt available to play, but I was just surprised that he wasnt there to cheer on his team-mates.
Hes been at club for 20 years and it would have been his last game.
The suppose the royal wedding is a special occasion and the club gave him permission to go, but I feel I would have been at the game if that was me.
Hes done nothing wrong he had a foot injury which ruled him out of his last game
It was just a personal opinion, I was quite surprised. I think even off the field you can have a massive impact on your team-mates performance.
As it happens, Wasps got absolutely thumped by Saracens and they deserve to be in the final this Saturday against Exeter.
I havent spoken to him since, but were good mates and hes very outspoken and I just gave my opinion, that was all.
Im sure he had a great day, it looked like a fantastic wedding.
