Exclusive - Davis on his future, the World Championships and the contenders

Steve Davis exclusively caught up with Andy Goldstein on The Sports Bar ahead of the World Snooker Championships, which start on Saturday, to discuss a variety of topics.

The six-time world champion failed to qualify for the tournament after a 10-8 defeat to Craig Steadman in qualifying, which resulted in the 56-year-old losing his tour card.

Davis has also turned down the opportunity to enter Q School, a qualifying tournament, but said he has no plans to retire from snooker and has actually be treating the sport as "more of a hobby" for a number of years now.

The London-born player also discusses Ronnie O'Sullivan's chances at The Crucible and chats with Andy about who he fancies to claim the championships in Sheffield
