When Emma Raducanu will begin US Open defence as young Brit returns to Flushing Meadows for 2022 competition as Brit set to face Alize Cornet

Emma Raducanu is back in New York City to defend her Grand Slam title win.
The young Brit burst onto the world stage with an incredible performance at the US Open to defy the odds and claim an unlikely win in 2021.
Raducanu's victory against Leylah Fernandez was one of the great sporting moments of recent times, but the pressure on the 19-year-old has been intense ever since.
However, she knows how to win this tournament and will be doing all she can to ensure the US Open title returns to Britain.
She beat Serena Williams last week in the Western and Southern Open, so appears to be hitting form at just the right time.
The draw for the first round has taken place and she will face France's Alize Cornet in the first round.
Cornet is ranked 37th in the world and will play against Raducanu on Tuesday, August 30.
In 2021, she started in first round qualifying against on August 25 and then didn't drop a set en route to lifting the trophy in 10 matches, while she lost just 34 games.
The competition will run for two weeks and the women's singles final will take place on Saturday, September 10.
The US Open will be shown live on Amazon Prime in the UK, with all matches from the tournament available to stream on Prime Video which is available on Smart TVs and the Prime Video app as well as online.
talkSPORT will have regular updates throughout the whole tournament.

The teenager is feeling more confident heading into the tournament after a tough year. "In the past year it's probably like the first tournament or like one of the few tournaments that I have actually started going for my shots more.
"This week I kind of just was like, 'look, I'm just going to try, I don't care if I make errors, like it's fine, but I'm just going to overhit if anything'. I'm pretty proud of how I did this week, and I think it's a great step to move forward."
