Australian Open 2023 odds: Novak Djokovic ODDS ON to win men’s Grand Slam despite injury scare, Emma Raducanu 75/1 for women’s title

The 2023 Australian Open gets underway this weekend and United Kingdom's Emma Raducanu is a huge 50/1 to win the women's title, with her involvement still up in the air.

Novak Djokovic is the clear favourite to win the tournament already, whereas the 2023 Women’s Australian Open's market is headed by Iga Swiatek at 21/10, with bookmaker .

Djokovic is odds-on before the qualification stages have even concluded, but that's largely down to his dominance over the last year or so and his record here.

He's won three in a row in Australia, the most of any tennis player in the Open era.

And the Serbian has the most titles won in this time too with a huge tally of nine.

The men's world number one faces tough competition from Daniil Medvedev, who is 11/2 to triumph down under, but was a close favourite last year and needs to improve to beat the big contender.

However, Medvedev has reached the final in the last two renewals, though both of those ended in defeat to Djokovic in 2021 and Rafael Nadal in 2022.

The Spaniard, who has won an incredible 22 Grand Slams is as high as 13/1 with Betfair.

Australian Open Men's outright winner odds

  • Novak Djokovic: 4/5
  • Daniil Medvedev: 5/1
  • Rafael Nadal: 13/1
  • Stefanos Tsitsipas: 13/1
  • Jannik Sinner: 13/1
  • Taylor Fritz: 14/1
  • Holger Rune: 14/1
  • Felix Auger Aliassime: 18/1

Meanwhile, British superstar Raducanu's odds to win a second Grand Slam after she stunned the world by lifting the US Open title last year, are as high as 75/1.

This price is partly due to her earlier exits from similar competitions recently and also the Brits' unfortunate injury woes.

But the frontrunner, Iga Swiatek, is priced well ahead of her rivals this year and continues to be a consistent winner.

Australian Open Women's outright winner odds

  • Iga Swiatek: 21/10
  • Aryna Sabalenka: 7/1
  • Jessica Pegula: 9/1
  • Cori Gauff: 11/1
  • Caroline Garcia: 13/1
  • Ons Jabeur, Belinda Bencic: 14/1
  • Emma Raducanu: 75/1 (was 80/1 before her first round win)
