Unseeded Marketa Vondrousova makes Wimbledon history by beating Ons Jabeur to Grand Slam title

Marketa Vondrousova has made Wimbledon history by beating Ons Jabeur to win the women's title.
The Czech star won 6-4 6-4 to beat Jabeur in straight sets at the All England Club on Saturday.
And the 24-year-old is now the first unseeded woman to win Wimbledon in the Open era ever, falling to the floor after claiming victory.
But it was heartbreak for Jabeur, who has now lost successive Wimbledon finals, despite being a crowd favourite.
Vondrousova was in tears and jumped into the crowd to celebrate with her friends and family, though she was immediately congratulated immediately by her opponent.
A year ago, the Sokolov-born star watched Wimbledon with her arm in a cast.
And today, she is a Grand Slam champion out of nowhere, blitzing the competition with wins over Jessica Pegula, Elina Svitolina and Veronika Kudermetova along the way.
Jabeur was the overwhelming favourite to finally win Wimbledon, going into the contest with a world ranking of No. 6.
Having lost last year's final ranked at No. 3, the Tunisian was in tears after tasting defeat yet again.
But the day belonged to Vondrousova, who missed six months of action last season with a wrist injury.
She has defied the odds to become a Wimbledon champion, though she admitted she is in something of a daze.
"I don't really know what's happening right now, it's an amazing feeling," she said.
"Ons, congratulations, you are such an inspiration to all of us. I hope you will win one day, you are an amazing person. Congratulations to the team.
"After everything I have been through, I had a cast last time, it's amazing I can stand here and hold this. Tennis is crazy.
"I don't know how I've done it. The comebacks are not easy you never know what to expect.
"I was hoping I could comeback to this level and now I am here.
"I want to thank my box, all you guys are amazing, my little sister is crying up there.
"I think I'm going to have some beer maybe. It was an exhausting two weeks, and I was getting myself together the last few days.
"I was so nervous before this game. Thank you so much guys for the support and coming here."
