Novak Djokovic next match: Defending champion’s schedule at 2024 Australian Open after reaching semi-finals

Novak Djokovic is eyeing a place in the Australian Open final as he aims to defend his title in Melbourne.
The world number one has seen his tournament plans consistently disrupted by restrictions since the coronavirus pandemic.
However, this year will be the first since 2019 that Djokovic will be free to compete in any tournament as he bids to claim two more titles to make up his career century.
The record 24-time Grand Slam champion enjoyed a fruitful 2023, with Wimbledon being the only major event he failed to win.
Djokovic will now be itching to claim a record-extending 11th Australian Open title and he is only two wins away from glory.
Djokovic's next match is on Friday, January 26.
He will face No.4 seed Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals of the Australian Open at 3:30am UK time.
The World No.1 made his way through to the last four after beating American Taylor Fritz 7-6, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3.
All of Djokovic's matches will be shown live on Eurosport in the UK.
You can also stream every match live and on-demand on discovery+. Entertainment & Sport pass prices are £6.99/month or £59.99/year.
Here are his potential dates in action...
Speaking after beating Fritz to reach the semi-finals, Djokovic said: "I suffered a lot in the first couple of sets.
"I said [to my team] that this match was not an enjoyable match for me at all.
"It was really difficult to find the right timing. It was really hot while the sun was still out.
"We all know Taylor has got one of the best serves in the world.
"I knew the kind of threat he poses when he serves on such a high quality."
